Pope Francis appointed three new auxiliary bishops in July for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Father Robert Barron, founder of Word on Fire Catholic Ministries and, since 2012, the rector/president of Mundelein Seminary outside of Chicago, as well as Msgrs. Joseph Brennan and David O’Connell, will be ordained bishops in the fall. The archdiocese is the largest in the nation.
